Since this was my first box, I got the “Discovery Box” and I didn’t get to pick the snacks. Luckily, it worked out great for me: I got some snacks that I wouldn’t have purchased for myself and happened to love them.
First glimpse! I purchased the “Happy Snacker” box, which came with 10 bags of snacks (2 of each kind). I love that it also came with a little description about each snack and even had a recipe on the back.
First up, Sweet Blueberry Almonds. I wouldn’t have purchased these for myself because I’m not a big fan of almonds. But as it turns out, I really love these. They’re not too sweet and the blueberry taste is strong. I guess I like almonds when they’re sweet, because I’ve only had salted before and never liked them.
I’ve had Teriyaki Twists before in the snack mixes you get at the airport, and I used to pick these pieces out to eat (and throw away the rest). I’m glad I found a snack with only Teriyaki Twists in them! I thought they were really good and a little too addictive, but since they aren’t all that healthy I’m going to try to limit myself.
Next, I got Cherry Berry Bonanza, a blend of dried cranberries, cherries, and blueberries. Since I like all three of these fruits, I figured it would be right up my alley. And it is.
And last but not least, Cocoa Waffle Wafers. These are so delicious!! Love the texture and the chocolate taste. They’re not that sweet, so I don’t feel too guilty for snacking on them. I will definitely be buying these again.
So basically, I got an awesome box and I plan to continue my subscription with NatureBox. I love that I get to try different snacks each month and how the bags are generously sized (and resealable!). I love that these snacks are vegan so I can share them with my vegan and vegetarian friends, and they have a variety of gluten-free options too. Considering I only paid $15 for this first box, I am beyond happy. What do you think?
