I never thought I would be excited to get cleaning supplies in the mail, but thanks to The Honest Company, I totally am! This is my fourth Essentials bundle, and I think it’s my favorite yet.
The Honest Company delivers family necessities directly to your door, and you can choose between three different plans: Diapers & Wipes Bundle (exactly as it sounds, it’s diapers and baby wipes), Essentials Bundle (cleaning supplies and body products), and a Health & Wellness Bundle (vitamins). All their products are eco-friendly without harsh chemicals, and almost their entire collection are vegan! The Diapers & Wipes Bundle costs $79.95 per box, the Essentials Bundle costs $35.95 per box, and the Health & Wellness Bundle costs $39.95 per box. I like that it’s completely customizable (you log in and select the products you want in your bundle), and you can choose when you want the box delivered. With each box, you can also order 3 additional items with a 25% discount. Overall, I find it to be a really good deal. If you’re interested in getting started, use promo code INVITED10 for $10 off your first bundle.
This bundle included a free first box from NatureBox! We already subscribe, so I was able to pass this along to a friend.
I was so happy to see how carefully this box was packed. So much better than my previous shipments! I know Honest is still growing and it’s fun to see the progress they are making in everything from better containers to new products to better packing.
Honest Dishwasher Pods | $10.95 each
I got my bundle delivered just for these, since we were running out and wanted to stock up for the holidays. Aren’t dishes/pots/pans just the worst part of the holidays? I’ve been using these little pods for a while now and really like them. We switched from Cascade brand pods and these perform just as well, but without the chemicals!
Honest Body Oil | $9.95
I haven’t used body oil in a very long time, and thought I would give it a try. As it turns out, I’m a big fan! It’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly, and the fragrance is barely noticeable. I use the Honest Face+Body Lotion already, but this body oil is doing a much better job of keeping my skin hydrated in the cold weather. It would definitely be too much for the humid summers though, so I’m glad Honest makes both.
Honest Dish Towels | $7.95
This was a free gift with purchase from Honest for Black Friday, and I just can’t say no to these dish towels! They’re really cute, very absorbent, and hold up great in the wash.
Honest Dish Soap in White Grapefruit | $5.95
I’m so glad I got this! I LOVE the scent and it cleans well. It’s not as thick as Dawn formula and doesn’t produce the same amount of bubbles, but it’s perfect for dishes that aren’t super greasy. It rinses out much faster than the traditional stuff, which is another plus. I hate having a sink full of bubbles that take forever to wash away.
Honest Laundry Detergent | $12.95
We usually get the laundry pods, but so many of my things are handwash only that it made sense to get this liquid detergent as well. It’s very gentle and only leaves a light fragrance. I use it to wash my sweaters and more delicate fabrics and it has done an awesome job. I can’t use a lot of perfumed detergents because of my sensitive skin, and I have had no irritation from this or the Honest Laundry Pods.
I was so surprised to find this little bonus gift in my bundle! It’s a tiny tree that I can plant and it’s a “thank you” gift from Honest! They didn’t announce it anywhere, and I think it’s so sweet of them to add this extra gift just because. The tree and the packaging is so cute, and such a great idea. It’s probably my favorite surprise gift that I’ve ever gotten from a company. I don’t know if they sent out different kinds of trees, but mine is a Western Red Cedar.
And here it is in a pot! I even managed to find a blue one around the house to match with Honest’s branding! This pot is way too small for the tree, so I will be running out to Home Depot next week to find something bigger.
I paid $41.90 for this bundle and received $58.70 worth of products (not including the little tree). It’s a great deal for high quality products that are better for the environment and better for you and your family. Not to mention, The Honest Company has amazing customer service and also donates to various causes. I was even more in love with them when I saw all the supplies they donated to the Philippines! If you’re thinking about trying them out, I would highly recommend their service and their products! If you get a bundle delivered in December, you will probably also get the free tree gift 🙂
