I feel like this March POPSUGAR Must Have box took forever to get to me, especially since the full spoilers came out a while ago. The theme(s) for March are: Renewal, Citrus, Spring Break, Fresh, and Traveling. Even though I was way off with my predictions (luggage tag), I’m pleased with the curation and range of brands.
POPSUGAR Must Have is my favorite subscription box, and there’s really nothing comparable to it on the market right now. They’ve recently started releasing fewer boxes and selling out more quickly, so if you want to jump aboard I would do it sooner rather than later! Unfortunately the only code out right now is still MUSTHAVE5 for $5.00 off. I’ll update if I find anything better! The April box is already sold out but if you sign up now you can be added to the waitlist or choose to get the May box. I for one can’t wait for a spoiler to come out for April. Dying to see the contents!
Bliss Micromagic Microdermabrasion Treatment | $48.00
I was really pumped to try this, and it’s just as fabulous as I thought it would be. Judging based on Sephora reviews, I had high expectations and this actually does live up to the hype! My skin feels amazingly soft and fresh after I use it, and I’ve had no issues with irritation or anything. It also makes applying makeup a little easier since my skin is so smooth. Love! Will definitely be purchasing more when I run out (which will be a while, this tube is huge!).
Wet Brush The Squirt | $4.99
We got a full sized Wet Brush back in the October 2014 POPSUGAR box, and I’ve been using mine ever since. It’s great for detangling wet hair and doesn’t tug, so I can see it being a big hit with kids. I love having mini travel versions of my favorite tools, so this is perfect for me. I think this definitely fits the “traveling” and “Spring Break” theme for this box.
Halfpops in Butter & Pure Ocean Sea Salt | $1.69
Much smaller of a bag than I expected, but since these are pretty small it was still a good amount. They taste sort of like corn nuts, which were a favorite of mine many years back. I felt really nostalgic eating these! I don’t know how many flavor variations there are, but I know some people got Butter & Sea Salt and I got Chipotle BBQ. I’m all about bold flavors so I’m really glad I got this flavor 🙂
Knock Knock What to Pack Pad | $7.00
I love Knock Knock products! So excited to see them featured in the box. On the other hand, I’m not really sure I will actually use this. And if I did want to use it, I definitely don’t need a whole pad. It’s too bad because Knock Knock makes hilarious stationery and I would have been stoked to get any of their other stuff.
Greenmarket Purveying Co. Lemon + Cucumber Reed Diffuser Kit | $20.00
I’ll never say no to a new diffuser, especially one with such pretty packaging! The scent is really fresh and bright, and makes my room smell clean. I like that these are handmade with natural ingredients, and produced right here in the US.
Samudra Pink Pina Zip Pouch | $40.00
This pouch is a POPSUGAR exclusive item, and I think it’s a great inclusion for traveling. I will definitely use it, but the $40 price tag is completely absurd. I would estimate closer to $10. With that being said, I do love the neon pink pineapples and I actually don’t have any clear travel bags of this size. It’s really big and roomy and I know I’ll use it quite a bit. I’m just rolling my eyes at the estimated value.
Benefit Roller Lash Deluxe Sample | $8.00
Benefit Porefessional Deluxe Sample | $4.00
Is it sad that I was actually really really really looking forward to getting these two little “extras”? They don’t even count as items in the box, since they’re sponsored by Benefit, but I just love both items so much. If y’all haven’t tried the Roller Lash mascara, go to your nearest Sephora and ask if they have any samples left (they’re free!). It’s a really great formula and a good day-to-day mascara. You won’t get crazy volume but it looks natural and stays all day. I’ve been a fan of POREfessional for a long time now and always need more! Benefit items are always welcome in any of my subscription boxes 😀
Personally this wasn’t an amazing box for me, but I still enjoyed the contents and definitely feel like I got my money’s worth. I’ll use everything except the packing pad and the items definitely fit their theme very well. I’m looking forward to using the bag and wet brush on my next trip!
Even POPSUGAR’s “worst” boxes have been pretty nice, in my opinion. I’ve never received one where I felt like the value wasn’t there or the items were useless. They consistently deliver the best range of lifestyle and beauty items, as well as cohesive themes that truly feel curated and well thought-out. I’m especially excited for April now since they seem to do an amazing box right after one that I didn’t like quite as much. Judging by the buzzwords, it’s going to be right up my alley!
