Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! We had an amazing Christmas Day and are still so stuffed from all the delicious food! But all good things must come to an end: I had to go back to work today (booo!) but I’m excited to have New Year’s Eve off this year. With just a week left of 2016, I have to get all my December reviews done!

Peaches and Petals is a monthly subscription service that sends out vintage-modern items and beauty goods. For $19.99 a month (includes shipping), you’ll receive a mix of jewelry, fashion accessories, lifestyle goods, and beauty samples. Each month has a theme for the box, and I’ve found that they do a great job of curating the items.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

Theme for December is Jingle and Mingle. I received this box with a good amount of time left before Christmas, so I think the timing worked out well for a festive theme. I definitely would have had enough time to gift the contents of this box.

Keep Calm and Color On Color a Day Calendar | $3.77
Peaches and Petals has sent out lots of coloring items this year, so I’m not surprised to see them finishing the year with another one! I’m surprised at the low value of this item, it’s definitely a great item that I would pay more for. I love the idea of coloring every day, I can totally see it becoming part of my morning routine or a way to unwind during my lunch break. The backing is a sturdy plastic so the calendar can remain upright on your desk.

Wine Bottle Ugly Christmas Sweater | $8.00
How funny is this “sweater”? It’s designed to fit around a wine bottle, and the little hat goes over the cork. It’s silly and festive and fun, so I have no complaints! I think it would be a really adorable way to gift a bottle of wine for the holidays.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain | $24.00
I’m sad to say it, but Manna Kadar has become a “subscription brand” to me. What I mean by that is: I only see it in subscription boxes and to me the value of it is significantly less than what the stated retail value is. I have so much Manna Kadar stuff now that I never get excited about it, and the quality seems to have declined over the years. While I appreciate receiving a full sized stain in this box, it goes into my pile of other Manna Kadar products that I have yet to use.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

Wax Free Tart Warmer | $13.85
I was surprised to see this in my box, since I have never gotten a fragrance warmer before in a box! Usually I see candles or diffusers, but I love getting something new to try. And for people who live in apartments who don’t allow candles, this is a great choice! It’s about 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, and comes with a vanilla fragrance disk.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

The warmer looks like this! It has a plug in the back and it’s very easy to use.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

Wax Free Tarts | $2.00 (?)
These exact discs were surprisingly hard to find online, so I’m thinking maybe these are the older packaging or something. Sun-dried linen is a classic scent that you can’t go wrong with, though I wish they had sent a more seasonal fragrance. I think it really would have helped the curation if the scents were more along the lines of apple, spruce, cinnamon, or something that feels festive!

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

Necklace | ???
Everything up until this point in my box was great, but once I got to the jewelry I was extremely confused. The jewelry is meant to be a “surprise jingle-y and mingle-y item” that varies from box to box. First of all, they included 3 necklaces for me. I’m not sure if that was a mistake or if they’re meant to be a set or what, but it was odd. And also the quality of these pieces were really very bad. On top of that, they didn’t feel festive at all. It would have been so easy to send equally cheap jewelry that had a more holiday theme. I saw some cute cheap earrings at Claire’s when I was shopping for a friend’s daughter that would have been way better: little jingle bells, snowflake pendants, even a tiny pom-pom holly wreath.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

I received a reddish teardrop pendant necklace, a blue “opal” textured triangle pendant, and a green square pendant. All three were very bad quality with visible soldering lines on the front and back.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

In lieu of getting three of these necklaces, I would have appreciated one single better quality item. Or just no necklaces! They really didn’t add anything to the box for me and I could have done without them.

Peaches and Petals December 2016 Review

The value for this box is actually quite good if you look at the retail price. It comes to about $51.62, which is over double the cost of the box. But on the other hand, a large portion of that value is coming from the overinflated Manna Kadar product. Personally, I enjoyed certain items in the box but some of the items I won’t be able to use at all. The necklaces aren’t even giftable and the Manna Kadar goes into my ever-growing pile.

But on a more positive note, I think the scent warmer is a great inclusion and definitely a unique pick. No other subscription box that I know of has sent out a similar item! The wine sweater is also really cute and funny and different. Peaches and Petals seems to send out more unique items compared to some of your other subscriptions, which can be hit or miss depending on what you prefer. Personally I think if you don’t mind getting unbranded items and are a bit tired of the same old stuff from other subscription boxes, this box could be a great choice for you!

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

December is always such a great month for subscription boxes! Each box just feels brimmed with Christmas cheer–it makes me so incredibly happy! POPSUGAR Must Have has consistently been one of my favorite subscription boxes, and definitely my most consistent subscription. I’ve been a subscriber for over 3 years now and will probably still be subscribed 3 years from now.

POPSUGAR Must Have is a subscription service that sends a variety of items for women that are curated by the POPSUGAR editors. Items typically include food, beauty, home, among other miscellaneous things. Each month is $39.99/month, but you can use the code REFER5 to get $5 off your first month.

Bauble Bar Snowfall Pendant | $28.00
We’ve gotten pieces from BaubleBar in the past from POPSUGAR, and I’ve always been happy with the quality. This is an exclusive design for the Must Have box. I love that it comes with a pouch that is perfect for gifting, since I think a lot of people (myself included!) buy extra boxes for gifts and stocking stuffers. This would be such a cute stocking stuffer!

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

Close up of the front. I like that the pendant actually swivels and is minimal enough to appeal to lots of people. White and silver is a simple and classic combination. This would go with pretty much any outfit. It feels wintery without being too specific, so it’s a versatile piece.

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

The curved part swivels up and down! The pieces all feel well made.

Winky Lux Lip Pill in Bunny | $14.00
I had never heard of this brand before so I like getting to try something completely new. While I have waaayyyyy too much lipstick right now, I can’t resist adorable packaging. Look at how pretty the lipstick case is! The color itself is a nice muted cranberry, which is great for the holidays.

Sisters’ Gourmet Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix | $7.00
It’s probably a little pathetic how excited I was to see cookie mix, but I mean, COOKIES! What could be more Christmas?! And seriously this mix is so posh and pretty. I really wanted to gift it since it really is a beautiful jar, but in the end I decided to keep it for myself for Christmas cookies. I’ll be baking these on Christmas eve!

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

The mix requires butter, 1 egg white, and vanilla extract. I can’t wait to taste these in a few days! You have no idea how much self control it required to wait this long!

Dessange Top Coat Serum | $12.00
When I first saw this I was disappointed, since I don’t have color treated hair and didn’t need another serum. But this actually has UV protection for your hair! I desperately need UV protection in the Texas summer here, so I am actually now really excited about this! This is one of the best parts about subscription boxes: finding new stuff that surprises you with how useful it is (plus the great value)!

Mane Message Date Night Bobby Pins | $10.00
Perfect stocking stuffer! I was set on gifting this but then I needed some cute bobby pins for my company’s holiday party and these fit the bill. They’re cute and sparkly without being overly gaudy, and the colors can work for all occasions.

Odeme Ring Dish | $23.00
Saving my favorite items for last! I always love receiving home items in boxes, especially really useful ones like this. I keep little trays all over the house for keys, jewelry, coins, etc. For a messy girl like me, these trays help me keep my messes contained! I love the minimal look of this ring dish too!

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

Odeme Catchall | $44.00
How cute is this little set? The tray is a great size and perfect for my makeup collection and brushes on my vanity. Both the tray and the ring dish are very solidly made and look quite pretty in my home.

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

And look at how adorable the boxes are! I purchased a 2nd December box mostly because I have a friend who would love this set for Christmas!

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

This wasn’t part of the December box, but since I re-subscribed during the Black Friday sale, I got a bonus item. I won’t be counting this towards the overall value, but just wanted to include it in my review because it’s a great product! I have only used this mask twice so far but it’s really quite fantastic. I usually use GlamGlow masks but this is seriously comparable! Just for reference, I have combination skin with some hormonal acne and it works so well for me.

POPSUGAR Must Have December 2016 Box Review

What a great December box! The value is $138.00. Everything is very giftable and the curation was on point. It definitely felt like a holiday box! I know it’s a great box when I had planned to gift most of the items but ended up keeping everything, so had to buy a second box for gifts! That’s what I would call a successful box. I hope 2017 brings more boxes like this one!

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Special Edition Box Review

It’s down to the wire for getting all your Christmas gifts bought and wrapped! I can’t believe Christmas is on this upcoming Sunday! I feel a little bit guilty for opening all my subscription boxes before Christmas while I’m making everyone else in my family wait to unwrap presents…

Up for review today is the POPSUGAR Must Have Neiman Marcus Special Edition Box. It’s a collaboration between POPSUGAR and Neiman Marcus, and has traditionally featured a mix of food, beauty, home, and fashion accessories. This was a one-time purchase for $250, promised to contain a value of over $700! I’ve only purchased one Neiman Marcus box before this, which was the 2013 box, the very first time they did a collaboration. It was one of my favorite boxes ever! And since I had a little extra money to blow this year (yay for holiday bonuses!) I figured I would treat myself.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

Such a Neiman Marcus pattern! This box always does feel very luxe when unboxing due to the great box quality and lovely little details. Each item is individually wrapped with tissue paper, so you definitely get the experience of unwrapping several little packages.

Alice + Olivia Stace Face Zip Wallet | $198.00
This was one of the spoilers that POPSUGAR released, and I think it’s funny how polarizing it was. Everyone either seemed to love it or hate it! Oddly enough, I was sort of in between. I don’t love it and certainly wouldn’t have picked it out for myself, but I do think it’s cute and feels very Kate-Spade-ish. I definitely plan to use it, and think it would be a nice statement purse with a little black dress! But it won’t be a staple in my wardrobe and won’t get used as often as some of my more classic pieces. I found it a little strange that this would be a chosen item for the box though, since I think it’s quite taste specific. I would expect a more neutral wallet for Neiman Marcus since I think that holds a wider appeal. It’s also concerning that this wallet can’t be found for sale anywhere–it could possibly be old or an exclusive for the box.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

The interior is standard for a zip wallet of this size: plenty of card holders with a zippered section in the middle. Most of the wallet is leather, and the sunglasses and lips are patent leather. Definitely a well made piece!

Alexis Bittar Gold Crystal Studded Spur Lace Cuff | $195.00
This item was the first spoiled item in the box! Alexis Bittar makes great quality costume jewelry so I knew this would be a worthwhile item to have. The cuff is adjustable so it can work for almost any wrist size, and can be reshaped for a more snug or relaxed fit. I always get nervous with open cuffs like this so I prefer to wear them a little tighter.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

It came in a box ready for gifting, though mine arrived a bit dented. I plan to keep this so it’s not a big deal, but it would be disappointing if I had intended to gift it. Wish they had added extra bubble wrap or something for the more fragile items!

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

So beautiful! I think it’s a great piece for me. I love dainty jewelry but also need more statement pieces, and has such lovely dainty elements while still being bold enough to work as a statement piece.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

Close up of the stunning detail work! This is such a perfect cuff to wear for holiday parties. It feels so festive and sparkly!

Antica Farmacista Prosecco Scented Candle | $44.00
If you follow my blog you probably know I have a large collection of candles at this point, even though I continue to hoard them and love collecting interesting scents and pretty containers. So surprisingly, I’ve decided to gift this candle! It was so hard giving it up, but it made for a stunning hostess gift for a holiday party! This is the only item from the box that I did not open and thus will not be able to provide a lot of details about the candle itself. What I do know is that Antica Farmacista makes incredibly high quality products and this candle is sure to last a very long time and produce a lovely fragrance.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

Le Metier de Beaute Lip Kaleidoscope in Lip L’Amour | $95.00
I remember in the first Neiman Marcus box there was also a Le Metier de Beaute Kaleidoscope! It was a fascinating concept for the eye shadow–the colors are designed to layer on top of one another in the same order that they are stacked. For the lip palette, you sort of lose that cleverness. You obviously would not want to layer all these lip colors on top of each other. As for the colors themselves, they have a good range and the quality is top notch. Very highly pigmented and super smooth application.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

However, I don’t really know how much I like this way of stacked lip palettes since it makes the whole thing a rather bulky thing to carry and I also have to carry an applicator/spatula too. I think the kaleidoscope concept really works best for eye shadow or other powder products. It comes in a little organza bag for gifting.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

Nima Oberoi Lunares Wishbone Bookends | $129.00
Really surprised to see a Nima Oberoi product in this box! POPSUGAR has worked with them before but I never realized this was a brand that Neiman Marcus carries as well. I seriously adore these bookends! They are simply stunning and so very beautiful. Pictures honestly don’t do it justice. They remind me of Jonathan Adler’s design aesthetic and I can’t wait to find the perfect place to put these in my home! The minimalistic wishbone design is simple and chic, and just like all Nima Oberoi products the quality is superb.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

It also came in a gift box that is ready for easy wrapping and gifting.

Studmuffin Desserts Bleeker Street Brittle | $30.00
Boo, my brittle came damaged! I was excited to try $30 brittle even though I don’t exactly like peanuts, but since it arrived open and damaged the brittle had become very stale. Luckily I was able to get a replacement sent to me, but it won’t arrive in time for Christmas.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

The side of the can is a very thin plastic, so any pressure can crack it quite easily. Sort of a design flaw, even though the rest of the packaging is so thoughtful. They even include a little washer that you can use to lift the edge of the lid!

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

Can’t wait to get my replacement so I can taste test this!

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

Neiman Marcus Gift Card | $50.00
Last but certainly not least, a $50 gift card to Neiman Marcus! Literally something that everyone can enjoy. It’s not branded with POPSUGAR on it anywhere, so it looks just like a gift card that you purchased direct from Neiman Marcus. What a wonderful surprise! There’s also plenty of stuff that can be purchased for $50 or less from Neiman, and since it’s a true gift card it can be combined with all sales. I was able to use it recently with a huge sale and got all my items for a total steal. Love the inclusion of a gift card so much! It does feel a little bit lazy on the curator’s part, but I absolutely loved it so I guess I really can’t complain. In a way it brings the cost of the box down to only $200.

POPSUGAR Must Have 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Box Review

The total value comes out to $741.00, which is amazing! Overall verdict on this box is mixed though. I think it was definitely worth the money, but didn’t wow me as much as previous boxes. I really loved the bookends and Alexis Bittar cuff, and I got a great candle to gift, but the lip kaleidoscope and brittle were misses. The $50 gift card really helped even things out since I started to think of my box as only being $200. For $200 it was an amazing deal! Would I buy it again? Absolutely. But some of the choices were questionable to me and I found it strange for the curator to pick some specific items (in particular the very bold wallet and lip kaleidoscope). I guess I was just expecting a different aesthetic than the ones that we received.

Nonetheless, I am very pleased with the contents. It was such a fun treat for myself and I think the variety of items was well balanced. There was 1 beauty item, 2 fashion accessories, 2 home items, 1 food item, and a gift card. If each regular POPSUGAR Must Have box followed this formula it would be an even more wonderful subscription! Hint hint, POPSUGAR editors 😉

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

Last November review before I move onto December! I can’t believe it took me this long to get my Peaches and Petals review up. The good news is that I really did get to use almost everything (there’s one thing I’m considering gifting so I haven’t used it) for a good amount of time since the photos were taken, so hopefully I’m able to shed a little more perspective on each item.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

This was taped on the outside of the box, which I really appreciate! It was very thoughtful to include a warning to be careful when opening the box. I was quite impressed!

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

All the items of the box. Just looking at it seems cozy, right? I thought the curation was particularly on point this month. Such a great November box!

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

S’mores Ceramic Mug | $5.00 (?)
This is the fragile item that was wrapped in the blanket that the sticker warning was about. When you first see it, it looks like an enamel mug. But then you pick it up and it’s such a heavy weight so you know it’s ceramic. I actually think I would have preferred an enamel mug because it’s a little different and could have tied in with the s’mores/camping/fireside theme, but since this is a cute design I really can’t complain. It’s quite large so I would consider it an oversized mug. I’m torn on keeping it: it’s really cute and super sturdy, but also would be amazing for gifting with some nice hot cocoa mix and some cute marshmallows.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

Fleece Throw | $5.00 (?)
It seems that throws are becoming super popular with subscription boxes this season! I can really never have enough in my home, so I completely welcome this trend. This is your typical fleece throw that you can get at Target or Walmart for around $5, which is why I’m estimating the value at that much. It’s 100% polyester and measures 50″ x 60″.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

Here’s a better pictures of the super soft fleece! My only issue is that the fleece sheds a lot when you first use it, which is really frustrating when you’re wearing a dark color (aka my entire wardrobe). I went nuts with the lint roller on this and then threw it in the wash which seemed to finally got rid of all the excess shedding, but it was an annoying process. It took me many many sheets on the lint roller. The quality of the throw isn’t great, so I haven’t been using it for myself. But my dog Maddie is thrilled with her new blanket! She claimed it for herself when I had it draped on a low chair, and I’m glad she got to enjoy part of this box too. It’s her new favorite thing to sleep on and snuggle with, so I’m happy!

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

Mountain Lodge Merino Wool Outdoor Sports Socks | $5.85
Personal favorite item from this box! I love to hike and can always use more comfortable socks. Even if you don’t hike, these are very thick warm socks that will keep your feet nice and toasty in any shoes or just lounging around at home. I haven’t had a chance to hike since getting these socks, but I have been wearing them around the house and they’re very comfortable. It suddenly got chilly in Houston seemingly overnight, so it was really perfect timing! These socks also did great in the wash, so I’m hopeful they will retain their softness and shape for a long time.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

Slightly Melted Shower Mochi | $3.90
Yay, another set of shower mochi scrubs! Peaches and Petals sent a set in the February box and I really loved them. I’m very happy to see them featured again! They smell totally amazing, especially the apple cider one! It made the whole box smell like a delicious apple pie and I couldn’t wait to use them.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

You’re supposed to break off a small piece (or cut it into 6 sections) and use the piece to exfoliate while in the shower. The sugar is a natural exfoliant and the coconut oil and cocoa butter in the mochi will moisturize your skin. I recently brought these with me on a trip to San Diego and it was perfect for travel. They’re small and compact, and totally dry so no need to worry about leaks.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

Boo Berry Lip Balm | $1.00 (?)
I don’t really care for these types of flavored lip balms, and it’s also a repeat from February when they sent a very similar lip balm. The balm isn’t as smooth and easy to apply as I prefer. I wish they had included a treat or something in lieu of this–maybe hot cocoa or peppermint bark? Or even a hand warmer! There’s no shortage of small stocking-stuffer ideas that I would have liked more, but since it’s such a small percentage of the box I don’t really mind too much.

Peaches and Petals November 2016 Review

The value is a little low this month, at just $20.75. I would expect a little higher value in the months going forward. However, I think the curation is actually great this month! With the exception of the lip balm, everything is useful and either got used or will get gifted. The shower mochi and socks were home runs for me! Can’t wait to see what December will bring. I always get so happy about December boxes. Each and every one feels like a wonderful Christmas present!

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Eek, totally behind again! Happy first day of December, everyone! I just have a couple reviews to wrap up from November–Thanksgiving was so much craziness I’m still playing catchup with my to-do list. Anyways, yay for more men’s subscription boxes! My better half sometimes gets a little jealous of all my awesome boxes, so it’s great that he gets to try something too. (We still get Bespoke Post boxes but I have a bad habit of claiming the contents for myself!) It’s always a good day when a men’s subscription service reaches out to offer a box in exchange for a review!

The Harrison Blake Monthly Subscription is a $25.00 per month subscription (shipping included) that focuses on men’s fashion accessories. Each box is curated around a particular look and color scheme, and includes 1 necktie and 4 additional accessories. Since all the items are meant coordinate together for a cohesive outfit, it’s an easy cheat for the guy who wants to be stylish without having to think too hard about his outfit. All the items are exclusive, so if you like a particular item you would have to subscribe to receive it.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

The November box definitely feels cold-weather appropriate. I like the rich burgundy color and the interesting textures. Since all the items are exclusive to Harrison Blake, the value for each item is stated on the information card as “average retail price”, which I have found to be pretty fair.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Knit Block NeckTie | $30.00
Perfect for winter! The knit texture and the dark colors feel very seasonally appropriate. The bottom of the tie ends in a straight line, unlike traditional ties that end in a V shape. I do feel like this is a more bold choice to send in a subscription service–not everyone can wear a tie like this for work. My husband works as a physician and when he’s not in scrubs he’s only allowed to wear very classic business attire. My brother works at a university and also said he would be not able to wear this. I think this would be great for someone who likes wearing ties outside of work, since if your workplace requires neckties it probably means more traditional styles.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

A closeup of the texture! It feels well made and the knit has a good weight to it. The tie is 100% polyester.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Exclusive label in the back. The part of the tie that actually goes around your neck is backed with a black satin fabric, so it feels smooth against your skin. Love that attention to detail!

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Car Tie Clip | $25.00
My favorite item in the box! It’s very sturdy and the construction quality is great. I love interesting tie clips! It’s a great way to add a little personality while keeping your look very polished and professional. My brother would love this, so I will be sending it to him.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Microfiber Pocket Square | $15.00
A perfect match for the necktie that came in this box. It’s got a classic dot pattern on one side and a more bold pattern on the reverse side. Even though my husband can’t wear the tie from this month at work, the pocket square is something he can definitely use! He recently got a new charcoal suit and the colors go together beautifully. I think burgundy will go with any suit color, so it’s a great versatile choice for the colder months!

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

The reverse is more bold, but nothing crazy. Feels very timeless and elegant.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Burgundy Stripe Socks | $8.00
Who doesn’t like getting new socks? I think this is my husband’s favorite part of the box, mostly because he’s always really excited to get crew socks. Not sure what these are made of, but they feel well constructed. I’ve put them through the washer twice already and they haven’t shrunk or pilled. The elastic is also holding up very well.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Harrison Blake Travel/Shoe Bag | $6.00
We are constantly losing shoe bags in this household, so I always welcome new ones. The quality isn’t great on this one, but it’s fine for getting the job done. I do wish the value didn’t count towards the total for the box, since the logo is so large that it feels like a promotional item.

Harrison Blake Apparel Subscription November Box Review

Overall I think it was a solid box. I love the colors and the variation in items! It’s just unfortunate that the big ticket item didn’t really work for my husband’s needs. The total value comes to $84.00, which I think is fair. Since everything is small batch and exclusive to the box, I can see these values being accurate.

However, I wish I could get more details about each item on the information card. Besides the tie, I have no idea what materials anything is made of. It’s also all unbranded and doesn’t come with packaging, which I think sort of lowers the perceived value. It would have been nice to be able to easily gift some of the items that my husband can’t use, but since it’s unbranded it doesn’t feel substantial enough for a gift.

I think this would be a good subscription service for someone who wears a lot of suits at work, and also likes wearing business or business casual clothing outside of work. If you like to live in T-shirt and jeans once you get off work (like my husband), I doubt you’ll get to use all the items in the box each month. We would only subscribe if they implemented a system like Bespoke Post in which you get to preview the box and skip a shipment if it doesn’t appeal to you.
